We're tackling some bottom tier factions today, which means it's time to let loose a little and have fun. You're probably not finding a win with these factions most games ANYWAYS, but how can you still have a decent time? Well, we'll question what it means to play ethically and I'm sure you won't be surprised which of us believes ethical play is important and which doesn't. The Galactic Council gave us a tall order this month. We are tasked with doing Dane Beltrami's job and designing a SECOND potential expansion for Twilight Imperium. We're nearing the end of our preliminary guides and today we get to NOT talk about blue tech! Jol-Nar is regarded as one of the higher tier factions, depending on who you ask, and it's primarily due to their monumental amount of flexibility when it comes to tech and defenses. Mentak are seemingly the opposite when it comes to flexibility; these days it's Mirror Computing or bust!

It's a new year, so we wanted to do some quick Patreon bookkeeping to update everyone on our plans for 2022! Well normally I would think an episode like this isn't gonna attract that many listeners, but SO MANY OF YOU signed up for next year's tournament that this announcement episode became a pretty important thing. In it we detail how we will get through the 2022 Patreon Tournament, with an emphasis on the Qualifiers, as well as some discussion on the structure and rules that will be in place in the games themselves.
